I recently got a copy of the book "Basketball Officiating" by former referee John Nucatola. The book was published in 1959.

In it is a photo showing the founding members of the Collegiate Basketball Officials Association (CBOA). There is no listing of the individual members.




I know that Nucatola is in the front row on the far right. I was curious if anyone could identify any of the other officials in the photo ? (Note that although this is a collegiate organization, I'm sure many of these guys also probably reffed pro games, and some were even past pro players.)

I sent an email to the CBOA contact but haven't received an answer yet. According to their website some of the early presidents of the organization included Sam Schoenfeld, Matty Begovich, Nucatola, Lou Eisenstein, Hagan Andersen, Ben Light, J. Dallas Shirley etc.
