Re: Nuggets
Gordon has fallen way off on D-Darko the last 2 years (and D-BPM). Watson's D-Darko continuously spirals around. Ended at his near lowest, below league average. Not enough. Bruce Brown, way below average and near career worst. Jokic D-Darko down considerably in last 2 years, though still near career...

Re: European and global league possibilities
The main news out of today's board meeting to me is confirmation that Euroleague will begin process to sell / create new franchises for a entrance fee, begining July 1. Who will sell first? Last longest? Real Madrid remains uncommitted but expected to commit. Has a board meeting on June 30. What if ...

Re: Nuggets
Typically in regular season, Murray's on / off gain for offense exceeds a loss on defense. But in this playoffs, the offensive efficiency was 20 points worse and the defense on was better. I don't understand that but would want to. It is about the starters as well as change in behavior of bench unit...

Re: Nuggets
Defensive efficiency was bottom 10 in regular season and below mean in playoffs. Watson is probably overrated, on way to being over paid. I can't see how they fix the defense or retain Watson, with Murray making $50 million and rising. Timberwolves or Timberwolves in a mulri-team deal might have som...

Re: Nuggets
Would look for 3 for 1 Murray trades.
Not just anything. Something that looks good for defense and for a few years.
Half measures didn't work. Time is short for another title push, if not totally over.

Re: European and global league possibilities
If the NBA was far along with media discussions, I'd think that would be hinted by them, those media companies and possibly Euroleague / IMG. I know of no tangible hints, just a background idea for direct to the consumer. For conventional media, I kinda doubt they bump soccer, even out of market soc...

Re: Spurs
Finals so far played at modestly faster pace than either played previously in playoffs and in fact faster than anyone's average, except for a tie with Nuggets at 98.5. Offensive and defensive pace has always been desirable detail. With enough thought and effort, it probably would be possible to get ...

Clear cut MVP candidates, by the numbers, so far.

Re: European and global league possibilities
If NBA and Euroleague decide they are at an impasse, the Eueoleague could consider selling new franchise licenses. To existing teams but also to new ones in UK and possibly elsewhere. At far lower price than NBA. As a tactical move or with lasting intent.

Re: European and global league possibilities
NBA says teams will be announced in fall. Allowing all summer for the NBA - Euroleague discussions / standoff to potentially continue.
But it probably will continue to be on / off.
It goes nowhere without change by one or both parties.

Re: European and global league possibilities
"The minimum revenues for each club, as reported by Eurohoops, are expected to be 8M euros per season" Received from league. I hopethe player salary minimum is significantly higher. If you don't pay for much better players, the new league, with or without Euroleague, won't create much new ...

Re: Spurs
At factor level, Knicks are slightly ahead on efg%. Major lead on own turnovers. Offensive rebounding nearly tied. Spurs win at free throw line. At individual boxscore stats level, 4 Spurs look good (Harper, Champagnie, Vassell and Kornet), Wemby meh, 2 weak (Fox and Castle), 2 really terrible (Brya...

Re: Spurs
Thru 2 games, Spurs vs. Knicks, Spurs have used 30 lineups. 9 positive, 8 neutral, 13 negative. Only one of 5 most used is negative, but it is most used. Starters with Fox / Castle. Still those 5 are +18 while the other 25 lineups are -29. The biggest Fox / Harper and Castle / Harper lineups are win...
