Euroleague claims NBA is being vague, not really negotiating.
One option, if can get group to agree would be to say: final offer for deep and full league to league negotiations now or see ya in 2029.

Re: European and global league possibilities
Scenario: No Euroleague teams commit to joining / paying pre-exemptive of bidding process. NBA precede with bidding in all targeted cities? Who bids to go into Barcelona or Madrid against the local ongoing teams? How much? Greece or Turkey? Other cities probably not as big an issue with competition ...

Re: European and global league possibilities
Will the majority of heads of basketball operations come from Europe or US? Choice of owners but will NBA encourage one or the other? Heads of basketball operations do not necesary have to be chief executives. Groups may be wary to join without concrete salary cap rules, not wanting to pay to compet...

Re: European and global league possibilities
If 0 to a few Euroleague teams join NBA Europe, it probably will affect interest level of newcomers some or impact what they are willing to pay to join. It will be interesting to see if certain teams are willing to break away from their country neighbor / rival. I now see 'everybody might play in BC...

Re: LIneup trends around the league
Cavs, Warriors and Pacers are first to cross 300 lineups used. Have to continuously pump about 15 new lineups per game to do so. All underachieving to different degrees.
Nuggets and Heat under 150.

Lose to Celtics without Brown by 45. Shot defense presumably and turnovers.
Lineups at 251 before tonight. 241 dinks. 8 of 10 most used negative.

Re: Wizards' next steps
IF they continue to play Carrington, put him better context. That can could include play with McCollum and Middleton, but that isnt or shouldn't be the future, imo. Play him mainly with Johnson, George, Kispert, Bagley. Maybe Whitmore. Horrible with Sarr. Now (-19) and last season (-13). If can't fi...

Re: Wizards' next steps
Johnson Coulibaly Kispert Sarr has only been tried 5 minutes. I'd try several variations for 200+ minutes asap. Coulibaly, Kispert & Sarr, no Johnson has been +25 in 44 minutes. Try that too. Trio without Coulibaly has also been good in tiny minutes. Likewise, Sarr, Coulibaly, Johnson, George, n...

Re: 2025-26 team win projection contest
On Nov. 9, BRef projected Thunder to win 62% of remaining games. Now 70%. Will likely actually be 80+%. Maybe that projection gets there in a month or two.

Re: European and global league possibilities
Slow roll out has given lots of time for others to get agitated and perhaps act.
Perhaps inevitable, expected. Can't really evaluate actual to another version, except in mind.

Re: Houston Rockets
Rockets, 2nd on offensive rating, 6 on defense, 2nd overall. 2nd slowest pace. 30th on 3pta rate. 3 top 10 factors, 5 middle. Opponent turnover rate is the closest to a factor problem at 19th. Satisfied? Not everyone is. Amen Thompson's BPM is down 80% from last season. Mainly just go with points, s...
