To reiterate Crow's question, what is the theory and/or heuristic underlying these projections? This is kind of important, no?

I'm just trying to predict how many minutes players are going to play. Last season is a starting point and I have a guide that balances minutes by position so I don't overpredict frontcourt/backcourt groups. That's pretty much it.

Don't want to come off as homeristic/pushy, but looking at OKC's minutes, I think the Kanter/Adams minutes are swapped. They're similar, but I'd expect an even split or maybe a few extra to Adams to be honest.

Nitpicking, but I think Chandler Parsons plays less than 72 games @ 32 minutes after microfracture surgery

Dallas has been trotting out almost comical lineups in the preseason - I think the only player from their expected starting 5 to play any minutes was Nowitzki, who played two games. Not the best sign for overall team health

Biggest ones that stuck out to me are Gallo at only 56 Gs seems low, and I think Javale gets a bigger role than 5mpg

Final update (not waiting for the Stokes/Hollins decision since neither are projected for any minutes anyway):
