But, overall, the players should average exactly the same as the same players did in the regular season (accounting for minutes).
Thanks again for the correction. In general, better players get more minutes in the playoffs.
The Cavs were one team for which this may not have been the case: Love played just 4 of their 20 games, and Irving missed 7.
Their aggregate PER dropped 0.81 (PO-RS), their WS/48 was unchanged (+.002), and BPM was +1.25

NBA scoring is up from 100.0 ppg last year to 101.1 this year.
Steph Curry's ppg are up 12, accounting for about 1/3 of that uptick.
There are 13 players who have had a season of 40+ Pts/100 possessions since 1978.
Jordan did it 9 times, LeBron has 2 such seasons, and nobody else more than once.

In his season opener, DeMarcus Cousins (Sac) hit 4 of 5 three-pointers. His previous high
season was 4 from the arc.
After 3 games totaling 0-9, he again hit 4/5 last night.
Before this year, his 3PAr was .013, and this year it's .201
His FTr was .441 thru 5 seasons, and this year it's .582
His FG% (.407) is .055 below his career avg; FT% (.717) is .013 below avg; but TS% (.525) is just above (.523)
Of players 6-11 and taller who are listed at or above Cousins' weight (270), I find no one as big who has averaged more than 1.2 3FG/G (Byron Mullens, 2013)
http://bkref.com/tiny/eIE2T
At 6-10 and over, still no one close to that size.

Pace is up yet again. League average is currently 97.2 and there are 6 teams >100.0. It is trending downward though; after the first week it was above 98.5 and we even had one team (SAC) above 105.0.
League ORTG/DRTG is down/up at 103.6, but trending upward and should normalize at the usual 105-106.
GSW offense above LA is +8.8, defense below is -8.6, and they've held up a +14.02 SRS through 9 games. Monster start.
Stephen Curry is leading the league in PTS/G and TS% (among qualified players according to BBR). Per 100 possessions he's no longer above 50.0, but at 44.8 he's at the highest mark since Kobe in 2006 (45.6) and only Jordan in 87 has been higher.

How many players, if any, have led in both of these?
Who has come closest, most recently?

1962 Oscar 5 1 (tie)
1962 Wilt 1 5
1961 Oscar 3 1
1960 Hagan 5 4
SO, hasn't been done since McAdoo in 1974, 30.6 PTS/G and 59.4% TS. He played 43.0 MPG and per 100 possessions he scored an estimated 30.5 PTS.
Obviously, the standard for leading the league in PTS/G and TS% vary. In the mid 2000s, there weren't many guys breaking too far past the .600 barrier and there are years where the top end volume scorers are far beyond the 27-28ish level we've been seeing for the past few years (given the concentration of scoring talent on strong offensive teams). In the mid 60s, West, Wilt, and Robertson were often (not always) hitting top 5 in TS% with around 55% TS.
Still, I think it's pretty reasonable to say Curry's start has been historic.
Notably, the trend of high volume/efficiency wings/smalls seems to be pretty new, with Durant and James ushering in the era. Barkley/Malone/Shaq otherwise dominate this list in the past 25-30 years.
West/Robertson/Wilt/Bellamy were hitting the top 5 in both quite frequently in the 60s, oftentimes with low standards for qualified players (Bellamy/Oscar were #1 in TS% in 1962 at 55.4%).

Awesome! I had guessed Wilt and/or Kareem had done it, but they were only close.
Neil Johnston led the league in PPG for 3 years, 1953, 54, 55; led in TS% the next 2 years; never in the same season. McAdoo stands alone.
Except that Connie Hawkins led the ABA in both in 1968.

After an 11 points on 5 attempts (1.111) night, Doug McDermott (Chi) was briefly in the TS% lead.
With a couple of 'off' nights -- .583 and .581 -- he's dropped back to 2nd.
Curry's 33.4 ppg is 5 ppg better than next-best Harden.
Last time anyone ended a season with such an advantage was 1987 -- Jordan at 37 to Wilkins' 29.
Curry has dropped to 2nd in all-time pts/100, with 45.7 -- after Jordan's 46.4 in 1987
Those '87 Bulls gave up 107.6 pts/100, so Jordan was scoring 43.1% of what the other team was scoring, while on the floor.
Curry is scoring 46.7% of what Warriors' opponents are getting.
Per game, Jordan scored .357 of what opponents scored; Curry's at .341

So far, 11 games into the season, Russell Westbrook is once again averaging a triple-double per 100 possessions. The all-time list, including Westbrook's 2014-15 includes 7 different players who've accomplished the feat 15 different times, (at least 1,000 MP) it's not quite Oscar Robertson's averaging a triple-double/per game for an entire season, but it's still shows a player's versatility and skill set, as well as his ability to take over the game.

Only LeBron in 2009 and Westbrook last year ever did it at 40+ Pts/100 Poss. Pretty exclusive company, and a rare list where Michael Jordan doesn't appear at all.

To get nice straight columns:
Copy your data into Notepad or similar utility.
Edit - Replace - select the tab space between any 2 data points, copy and paste into the Find what space -- in the Replace with space, enter (3 - 4) spaces on your space bar -- Replace All
Use Backspace and Delete keys to line up columns. Find a rhythm.
Once it looks right, Edit - Select All - Ctrl-C
In your post here, hit Code; Ctrl-V to copy your table within the Code brackets.

If you throw in BLK/100, D.Wade's 2011-12 campaign is the only season in which a player averaged 35+ Points, 7+ Rebounds, 7+ Assists, 2.5 Steals, and 2+(2.0, right on the money) Blocks per 100 possessions.

There have been 43 player seasons of 4.0+ STL/100 POSS by 25 different players, with Alvin Robertson and John Stockton doing it 4 x apiece, Quinn Buckner and Nate McMillan 3x each, and Tony Allen, Dudley Bradley, Randy Brown, Brevin Knight, Ron Lee, Eric Murdock, Slick Watts, and Michael Williams each with 2 seasons under their belt. However, I noticed that ONLY FIVE of these such seasons occurred during or after a player's Age 30 season. One of them being Memphis' Tony Allen last year :

T.Allen (33)..........4.1....14-15
L.Conner (31).......4.1....90-91
