Probably not going to last.
Better to go to camp than not but I question the choice. Agent has a lot of borderline players. Probably doesn't have much clout to call in favors.
Maybe if the Bucks make a trade / waiver or several.

Alright, assuming true. The real work starts. Use this chance.
Kinda tough to let go of Zeller. -1 RPM was borderline. Weak playoff on/off and coaching evaluations not to play him much there may have done him in.
Did they consider trading Maker? I would have considered it.

The G league can help with player development to a degree as can practice but there is nothing close to real NBA time. Wood is deep bench and not a priority. They prefer to develop DJ Wilson. Ok. But they have been so good they could have given Wood a bit more run. Still don't really know what they have if they were to need him because of injury. Still don't know if he could be part of the future.

Pelicans. This could be your golden opportunity.

In 4 years, he has been on four teams. Got in 45 NBA games sporadically for an average of 7 minutes a game. Never had a 25 plus minutes opportunity til last night. Alvin Gentry gives him the opportunity that Brett Brown, Steve Clifford and Mike Budenhiolzer would not.
It is a new start. Go guy.
Fwiw, I drafted him in several sim leagues back in 2015.
Did they need Frazier immediately over the later waived Duval? I don't think so. Frazier has played the worst basketball of his career with Bucks, Gasol looks like a mistake signing too.

Wood's raw on the court plus minus and raw on / off have been mostly terrible including with Bucks. Very small samples but easy to scare off a coach from testing. His numbers with Pelicans are much better but just barely above neutral. RPM barely negative. Playable but still have to sort out role & execution. Evaluation certainly should include what he does well but extend to everything.

Box score stats still great thru 4 games with Pelicans. Raw on court and on / off have nosedived. RPM is still ok at barely below neutral though.
Under contract for next season. Not sure about guarantee.
