Could use some help with a paper on the three point line

Hi all,

I'm writing a paper for a class with John U. Bacon (hopefully that name resonates with a few people here) about the history of the three point line and three point shot in general. I'm wondering if anyone here who has done any research regarding the three point shot would be willing to participate in a quick interview. In particular, some knowledge on pro or college offenses that rely heavily on the three point shot would be a big plus.

Hopefully posting a question like this here isn't a problem, if so I apologize in advance.

You might find more assistance at the regular APBR message boards: http://apbr.org/forum/index.php

They have more of a historical focus there.

Number of teams averaging over 20 3 pt attempts per game jumps from 8 last season to 13 this season:

From one most ever to a much higher one.

Looks like the league average is up a bit (to maybe 18.4) but I don't off-hand know the exact number of games played.
