Practicing with 140 characters or less

Steve Nash had his worst TO% of his career last season at over 27%. That was the 8th highest of all-time among those playing 25+ minutes per game and over 40 games in a season.
Character count 176. Better not add anything to it. Analysis over, at least for the moment, after one minute's time due to space limits.
Lets try that again:
Steve Nash, worst TO% of career- 27+%. 8th highest all-time among qualifiers.
79 characters. Woo-hoo! Who needs proper grammar.
Do I wait for response or double-post on this? I know from past experience various places how offended some people get about multiple posts in a row. Oh the ethical dilemma.

Where does the Celtics offense without Ray Allen go on offensive efficiency? From 27th to where? Can't rank much lower. May slip in absolutes terms and yet rise in rank due to other teams getting worse faster.
209. Oh well, burn more time editing to meet a silly limit.
Celtics w/o Ray Allen on off. efficiency? From 27th to ? Can't rank much lower. May slip in absolute terms and yet rise in rank due to other teams getting worse faster.
137. Yay! Not so hard, as along as one is careful to stick to basically one line thoughts.
But this is better how? If one only has this much analysis or if folks will only read this much, I guess it might be better. Otherwise, not.

You're on your way @crow!
Some people use ... to continue on to a second post, but I wouldn't recommend doing it too often. #my2cents

There are Twitter posting thingies that will let you tweet more than 140 characters. I wish I could be more precise than "thingies" but my foray into Twitter lasted about a week. I'll likely get back on it at some point, but that won't be today. Tweetdeck worked pretty well for me when I was on the service.

I found the "thingies" to fix the fundamental flaw of the medium, as I noted in the other thread. The question is whether to use the medium with the fix.

Coolest thing when I was following my organization's corporate Twitter feed for a couple weeks was the instantaneous reaction to stuff. There were tweets about the Virginia earthquake while stuff was still shaking. That was neat. Otherwise...it seems like a decent way to promote what you're doing, if you're writing or have something to promote.
