Which team will be most improved in 2012-13?

GMs say:

1. Brooklyn -- 62.1%
and nobody else with a lot of votes.

I think I'll take one of the also rans, Golden State.

Not sure if either will improve by 15+ games but the Warriors seem like a better bet to me. Warriors probably don't make the playoffs though.

I guess the Nets also have a shot at the playoffs, but I'd say more likely not than yes.
I do not really like the Nets player mishmash, player commitment to defense or Deron as leader. ESPN's crowd average is 46 wins for the Nets. I think that is crazy too high.

ESPN's crowd average for Golden is 38. That seems like the right ballpark.

I think Charlotte will be most improved. But that has more to do with them being so terrible last year, there is a lot of room for growth.

I am very low on Brooklyn. I think they're going to be quite bad and fall well below expectations

Basketball Prospectus' SCHOENE projection for the Nets is 44 wins. Nothing in the team writeup convinces me of that big of an improvement.

They will need trades and a new GM making them to get past the first round of the playoffs, if / when they get there. They will probably need a new coach too.

I'm projecting 33 wins for them

33 seems more reasonable to reach than 44-46 but I might go a little higher. It will depend on Avery's coaching. If they play a lot of guys in random lineups, they will probably be near 33 or maybe even below. Tight smart rotation, they might get to 38-40+.
