Over the past 10 years the Spurs have dominated the league in terms of payroll efficiency (salary-dollars per regular season win). In Baseball, the Oakland Athletics had Billy Beane -- who is the mastermind equivalent behind the Spurs?

I'd say give credit to Popovich, Buford, their staff and their owner. I can't say how to divide it out without being on the inside.
