Fwiw this is the main reason why we don't much like splitting IPV into IPVoff and IPVdef. So much of it is based on whether the coach tells a guy to crash the boards or to get back, whereas the whole number (not split into off vs def) presents the value of the player more accurately (imo at least).
Also as a funny aside, anyone remember the days when Mario Bartiromo was referred to as the "Money Honey" in Wall Street circles? Does this make Jenna Wiens the "Hoops Honey"? http://web.mit.edu/jwiens/www/images/6_wide.jpg
