Miami's opponents are shooting over 45% from the corners this season. That's up from about 34% last season. In Miami's losses, opponents are shooting 58% from the corners. So, what has changed since last season? Health of perimeter defenders?

They have an aggressive, trapping defense, and it's often susceptible by good movement to the weak side of the floor. Due to age and, perhaps, "coasting," they don't have the same level of effort/intensity to keep this scheme going. It would be worth tracking corner three's as they get closer to the playoffs as it might indicate whether the Heat are coasting through some of the regular season or if they've truly lost something.
