FG% compared to FT%

I need some help figuring out this question as I want to learn more about efficiency of FT shooting vs FGs for myself.

Let's say my team's FG percentage is 25%. I'm a bad shooter, but an athletic player that can draw fouls. I can make 1 out of 2 when I go to the line. My FT percentage is 50%. How more efficient is it shooting free throws on a possession than going for field goals. What FG% would my team have to shoot relative to the production I have from free throws. What is the more effective shot for the team in helping us score? It seems like a simple question but I'm having trouble working it out.

Thanks

I don't think you can quantify that, to be honest. There are too many factors in place. If you are a non-shooter it lowers the FG% of everyone else around you because of the allowance it gives the defender to play help defense. Similarly if you have a great shooter who camps out in the corner the other players will almost be playing 4 v 4 for the most part.

To do a thorough analysis I'd think you'd want to look at offensive rebound rates off of FGAs and FTAs and probably next possession opponent offensive efficiencies off of missed FGAs and FTAs in order to see the big picture and build a model to compute the FG% that is needed to exactly equal the expected points received from the FTs.
