... Currently, the NBA is the fourth most watched league on TV and the fifth most popular for people to actually attend. While the NBA Finals are the second most watched sporting event after the Super Bowl, they only bring in about 15% of the viewers. ...
What does this mean? The NBA Finals are 4 to 7 games; do only 15% as many people watch even one game (as watch the Super Bowl)? Are 15% as many watching all 4 to 7 games?

If you watched one minute of the SB, would you tell a pollster you had seen it?

When someone asks me if I saw a game, I'll tell them how much of it I saw: I missed most of the 1st quarter on Sunday. Especially with a best of 7 series, it's not generally a yes-or-no question. Is it?

The Superbowl had 110+ million viewers, however that is defined. The NBA finals might average around 15 million per game. This report http://www.nba.com/2015/news/06/08/rati ... ba-finals/ said they got as high as 24 million recently at a particular moment.
