I've often wanted to just download a simple file with some basic data from basketball reference. I finally just did the work of putting it all into some spread sheets. I thought some viewing this forum might be interested in the data. I have a feeling most have access to far better and more detailed play by play data, but anyway hopefully a few people find this helpful. All credit to basketbal reference. I just did the copy and paste work. Oh and ignore the formulas and graphs on one of them. That didn't really result in much of value. I'll likely remove it later.
