Predictive stats for Gambling purposes?

Anyone know any stats out there that are purely predictive? Do you believe its possible to make money gambling using some of the advanced stats out there?
you might be able to pick off opening lines with low bet limits
but it's not likely that you're going to make a lot of money using publicly available stats
making money on season win totals is not super hard...you can even just use the work people do here in the prediction contest. but the highest limits i've seen are $1000 at the las vegas westgate, so again, nobody's getting rich off of that. plus your money is tied up for a relatively long time.
