There are some names in top 5 on NBA / ABA career points list who are pretty likely to no longer be in top 10 in 7-12 years. Wilt and MJ may get bumped by current stars. Kobe might hold on longer but could fall too. Those retired players in second 5 now almost certainly will slip out of top 10.
LBJ would have to play 6-7 more years to get #1 on regular season points. Probably won't unless he makes staying that long a priority. Would have to do more work to make good guess if he'd keep it or get passed.
Durant, Westbrook, Harden, Curry all have good chance at top 10. Most may make top 5. Dirk may make top 5 briefly.
Does Melo make top 10? Don't really care but he might, for awhile.
Haven't thought about the younger cats yet.
