NBA players resume building for 2nd career

With the rise and probable further rise of Head Coach salaries and GM salaries perking up too, it may in the future pay back certain exceptional players to have spent time with a premium franchise, especial if they get a title. David West gave up a lot of money playing for Spurs and Warriors but potentially he could earn future returns on that pay sacrifice beyond the psychic reward of a title. If he (or others) want to Coach or GM and have a realistic shot at it.
