Is there any place to find the player tracking data for current seasons? Haven't been able to find anything since NBA took the old sportVU stuff off the website.

They changed providers to Second Spectrum and changed the links / page navigation but it should still be there. However, at the moment, I can't raise / provide the links.

Thanks for the link Crow, that at least gives me something to play around with. I remember seeing on the nba site they were having "technical difficulties" putting up the raw data around the time the switched to second spectrum and i haven't seen it since. But they still provide some tracking stats so it may be on there somewhere and i just haven't been able to find it.

Click on menu icon at extreme top left of page. Then select tracking or other tabs from drop down menu. Various team and player data options.

I guess you have to select player or team before the tracking drop down.

Are you particularly interested in a type of tracking data?

not really looking for anything in particular, just want to play around with something beyond what you find in box scores. i'm still pretty new to data analysis, started getting into it a couple years ago when i was playing daily fantasy and have been slowly wandering my way down the rabbit hole. this forum has been a pretty valuable tool along the way.

Anyone know if this exists for any European league or euroleague?

Exists? Perhaps for some Euroleague teams, for internal use.

Not aware of any public access and doubt it exists, yet. Maybe in a few years? If there is enough demand.

I know of a company trying to do it for Europe, but it's obviously a slow process to get off the ground. Probably a few years away from another approaching a robust data set.

Which company is that? Who is working on the project? Any info available?

ACB League has no advanced stats. I don't know if clubs like Real Madrid or F.C. Barcelona internally has anything. Euroleague has no public advanced stats but there is a very good project that you can find in http://www.overbasket.com/ where you can find advanced stats from Euroleague and Eurocup. These two competitions are organized by Euroleague. There is another third competition which level is lower than Euroleague and Eurocup which is organized by FIBA

Analytics on fans. I haven't paid attention to that but could be interesting to hear the reveal, for Euroleague, NBA, NCAA, WNBA.
