I'm looking to scrape play-by-play data and I'm at a loss for how to track 5-man units between quarters. Substitutions are allowed between quarters, so how do you know who is on the floor at the start of each of the last three quarters? All of the sites I've looked at only seem to track substations ...

Statistically speaking, long 2s are the worst shot in basketball (see sources 1,2, and 3 below). I can't think of a better way for a defense to encourage long 2s than to allow them to go uncontested.
