[B-R.com] Play Index+
Re: [B-R.com] Play Index+
I've wasted waaaaaaaay too much time on Play Index+ today.

Re: [B-R.com] Play Index+
This is really incredibly awesome.
One suggestion (and I don't know how feasible it is) would be to add a combined seasons option in Shot Finder, as there is in the Lineup Finder (or the Player Season finder). Sample size for a single season is very low for certain types of shots (e.g. made FGs in last 30 seconds, margin between -2 and 0).

Yeah, unbelievably awesome. Looks like it even has the shot distances that someone was requesting recently. Doesn't have shot location though.
Re: [B-R.com] Play Index+
One thought: Justin might want to add a line that the shot type data is dependent on how the official scorer categorizes the shot. It's not uniform from arena to arena. So, the official data may say Javale McGee (for example) is shooting .632 on 38 hook shot attempts this season, but that number could be significantly off if scorers aren't seeing "hooks" the same way. Having watched McGee more than a little this season, I think the makes might be about right, but the attempts are probably on the low side. Still LOVE this tool.

I like the Lineup finder, although I am more a fan of the original play index. ;]
