Cumulative average usage of top minute lineups
Cumulative average usage of top minute lineups
The eight top minute lineups in the league with strong performance happen to average about 105 on cumulative average player usage. That isn't every high. 3 over 110, 2 under 100. So it was pretty spread out. Cumulative average player usage is not a straightforward measure but it has some value as a rough measure of lineup usage capability. Miami and the old starting lineup for the Lakers were tied for the high; Portland's older starter lineup without Batum provided the cumulative usage low. Cumulative average usage and actual lineup offensive efficiency did not track closely in every case though.
