Percentage of Blocks That End a Possession?

Post by Kathoro »

Is there anywhere I could obtain this information, or the information required to calculate an estimation? Thanks.

There was a presentation at the SLoan Analytics about blocks that seemed to be about something I always 'argued' that not all blocks were created equal. I have not yet been able to find that presentation paper. Has anyone seen it?

I can't find the paper either, but you could contact the author, John Huizinga (who'll be easy to find because he's an econ prof at the Univ of Chicago).

There are numerous summaries of the paper, e.g.
