As of a few days ago, these trends existed for the conferences:
West's SOS was +0.4 more than East. West's average SRS (weighted) was about +1.3. East the reverse. West's average offensive rating of 105.8, defensive efficiency of 104.8. East 103 and 103.9 respectively. West 0.5 faster on average pace. West more than 1%pt higher on eFG% but 0.6 higher on TO%. West more than 2%pts higher on OREB% and FT/FGA. Very close on average defensive eFG% allowed and foul rate. East a bit better at forcing turnovers and defensive rebounding.

The Rockets are really moving up this list. I'd say they're now performing about where I had them pegged. A lot of the value of that team balanced on whether Lin was for real, Harden was as valuable as he looked in OKC (or if he was being propped up by the best PG-SF combo in the league), and whether Asik's production coming off the bench for the Bulls was as good as it looked.
