Predicting what things will and should be like in 2 seconds
Megadata analysis using Sportvu or similar technology would allow teams to characterize offensive or defensive player positioning at certain times on the clock (say the 5, 10, 15, 20 second of the shot clock) into say 10-20 bins of roughly similar layout and then roughly characterize the 5-10 most likely ways the player positions will look in say 2 seconds (maybe a composite average would be useful to know as well). This could be quite useful for fine-tuning ball movement, steal and block attempts, floor spread or defensive rotations, etc. How many teams are working on something like this? More than 5? Less? Zero? And actually using the analysis? I wonder. I've only heard about one team who might be doing something like this and they might not be going this big / deep yet.

Toronto has been mentioned at really working with this type of database and I believe I recall Golden State as well. Any other teams folks hear are really deep in megadata diving from video? Any signs of impact yet?
