Lineup Analysis - Average to How Many Minutes?

Post by nileriver »

I was going to start working on some lineup analysis, and was wondering what to average the minutes out to. For an individual player per 36 minutes is generally used. What does everyone use for lineups?

Lineups are often analyzed per 100 possessions.

I thought about that right after I posted. Is any analysis done on a per minute basis?

I sometimes do it per minute. Pace is a modest factor. Do it whatever way you prefer or have the data.

Ok. Thanks for your help. I do have the play length, but do not have a possession indicator yet.
