In case anyone was curious, Patty Mills leads the league in "2014 xRAPM minus 2013 xRAPM" at +5.6
That's quite a jump. He's rebounding 35% more, increased steals and blocks by 20% and turns it over at 62% of last season. Last season, his +/- was +2 and his On-Off was -6. This season he's got a +/- of +11 and an On-Off of +3.7
Cool. He's also doubled his minutes from last year.
In 1364 minutes, he's been on the floor for some (1364*94.9/48.3=) 2696 possessions?
So his net change in point differential this year is (5.6*2696/100=) +151 points?

Is that still tops in the league? Someone with more minutes may be higher, of course, in total "extra" points added.
And there is likely someone with low minutes who is higher, per-possession.

Well, the award has been given to Goran Dragic (#9 on this list); 2nd place went to Stephenson (7), and 3rd was Anthony Davis (20).
Steph Curry was never an all-star before this year, and now he's likely 1st-team all-NBA.

All-star selections are first half awards, and Curry was much better during the second half of 2013.

Plus, it was a snub -- he should have been taken over David Lee.

That, and in the playoffs he had some superstar moments. So this year, he was expected to continue his ascent.
But (year2 - year1) however you measure it, I don't see why anyone else should have gotten it.
