Passes rates (by time of possession) for pgs

Post by Crow »

I believe I've seen data in articles on seconds of possession and total passes. If one had that for all pgs, one could calculate average passes per second and then pass surpluses and deficits from that average, perhaps on a per minute or per 32 or 36 minute basis. Anyone have that data and perhaps a willingness to share it or calculate the above stats?

Yeah, that is good, more diverse work. The stat I suggested is a sidelight, definitely not the dominant focus, but would give an additional way of thinking about ball movement behavior.
