Kobe on Spurs Continuity

Post by italia13calcio »

Kobe recently said that is jealous of the continuity and stability that the Spurs have. Obviously, since he has come into the league, the Spurs have been one of the best while also having a very low variance. I calculated the mean and variance of all NBA teams winning percentage, and plotted them.

I can't figure out how to attach a picture on here, so I instead linked to the tweet I sent out. Feel free to follow me if you like ;)

Also, the dot down in the lower corner where you can't read the team name is Milwaukee. Low mean and low variance... ouch

Poor, poor Kobe...

If only he hadn't gotten rid of the 11.5th ranked player of all time and instead had had someone at least as good as the 4.5th ranked player, he too could have had the continuity and stability he now wishes he had.

What a dope.
