Can anyone help me understand how the Home/Away/Neutral modifiers used in the modern RPI are calculated? My understanding is they started life as "secret" NCAA adjustments and than migrated into the official definition. My goal right now is to see if I can recreate the calculation.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Re: Statistical Basis for RPI Home/Away/Neutral Adjustments?
If you search thread bodies home court advantage here, it comes up in over a 100 posts. If you search titles, this might be one of the best threads viewtopic.php?f=2&t=8097&p=13975&hilit= ... age#p13975
May have to search via google to find in historical development within rpi context. If you are focused on NCAA level you won't find that context here but there is some general how to stuff in the thread I mentioned.

I did search before posting but I seemed to have used the wrong language for the search. Using "home court advantage" produces much better results.
