Nuggets should probably make a bid for Iguodala. Barton, whatever else within reason.

Raptors, if they can fashion something. Maybe a multiple team deal. Possibly involving lots of players.

Maybe the Heat, if they'd part with a draft pick and filler.

Draymond switches and is trusted. They could try him 5-10 minutes per game at SF... on defense or both. See what happens. Before playoffs.

The Lillard and McCollum extensions establish the timetable for the Blazers fall to mediocrity or worse.

I don't get why they didn't seem to value Aminu. Combined with the Nurkic injury I'm very worried about their defense. If they get Whiteside at his best they may be okay, but that's a bit of a dicey proposition.

Alec Burks seems like a pretty weak signing by the Warriors from perspective of both boxscore metrics and RPM/RAPM.

Glenn Robinson, even worse.

Warriors have 5 guys on roster in bottom 75 on RPM, or twice the average..

They are looking for a data scientist. Will they take one that values RPM or not?

The top 8-10 is what matters most but these weak players will hurt some.

I dunno how many were there at one time but Cavs had 10 guys last season who had RPM estimates of about -3 or worse.

Bulls 8, Suns, 6. Knicks and Pelicans 5.

Celtics, Heat Nets, Mavs and Bucks, 0. Jazz and Pacers, 1. A few teams with just 2.

Best offenses in west next season? GSW, HOU, probably POR, DEN. Clips probably improve but how much? Do the Lakers get in top 5 of west? I'd guess no.

Best defenses? Utah. Maybe nobody else. Maybe Clips.

Best at PG? GSW, POR, HOU, LAK.
SG? HOU, LAC.
SF? LAC.
PF? LAK
C? UTA, DEN.

I like Paschall. I think he plays a good amount and does pretty well. Active, seemed to know what he was doing last year.

Acquiring Porzingis, at that price, and extending him for the max & for full length seems more likely to not be a success to me than to be one.

If Bucks don't go at least as far as last season, everyone not name Giannis should be under trade consideration (though many- to all-won't be highly sought).

How to manage Andrew Wiggins?

Some thoughts:

Probably don't rely on anyone who has worked with him before because it totally didn't work. Unless they radically change their approach, standards.

Play him with a minimum of 3 other starters at basically all times.

Generally don't play him at end of games. Or let him shoot then, if you do play him. (He was incredibly bad at shooting at end of games last season. Not near as bad in previous seasons, so maybe you ease off this recommendation some if he is ok again. But don't rely on him shooting then.)

Play him with other players who are strong at passing, getting steals and not fouling.

Actively discourage mid-range jump shot. Drive or pass & then cut if appropriate. Or sit. Can't get all the way to rim? Pass it. Or sit. Cut mid-range frequency from 52% to under 35%.

Usage? Depends how much he is driving and how successfully. I'd try under 20% and see how that goes. Higher didn't work.

Open 3? Take it. Take even more of them. Not a big success and unlikely to be so; but so far ok and ok is ok compared to any mid-ranger.

Last season the Hornets couldn't shoot well enough or defend opponent shots or offensive rebound. Shot selection was average. Probably need to improve at least 2 of these 4 and retain most or all of what they did ok or better.

Guduric appears to make sense as an early summer pick up by Griz.

Recognizing that the depth charts have position errors and omissions:

T Wolves and Kings appear to be carrying 7 bigs. Don't see anybody else doing that. But not final of course. Hawks, Hornets, Pistons, Pacers, Griz, Bucks, Thunder and Wizards with 5. Knicks, Mavs and Suns just 4. Lakers with 4 who can play.

Bulls, Pistons, Lakers, Knicks, Sixers, Suns, Spurs and Jazz carrying 8 listed guards. Another handful at 7. Cuts will reduce some of these. Hawks, Hornets, Nuggets, Warriors, Clippers, Heat, TWolves, Bucks and Blazers with just 5.

Where are you looking at for depth charts? I haven't bothered looking past a teams top 8-9 guys so far.

Can't think of 8 guards for the Jazz (Conley/Mitchell/Exum/Mudiay/Wright-Foreman/???/???/??? - maybe Oni being counted, bit of a 2-3 combo, same for Howard, can't think of an 8th for the life of me).

This is what I typically use though there are a fair number of issues.

https://www.rotoworld.com/basketball/nba/depth-charts

I've look at some others. If someone is convinced there is a BETTER summary version somewhere, let me know.

Maybe I'll shift to using 538 pages for each team, though I like all on one page.
