Randle to... Cavs, Hornets, Spurs, Jazz, Suns, TWolves, Warriors, other?

Cap motivations on one or both sides.

C Paul to Charlotte seems plausible, feasible. For multiple players and probably involving multiple teams.

CP3 to the Heat. They're the one team that can mostly just trade non top 9 rotation players for him and throw in a prospect. Teams like the Bucks and Nuggets would have to hurt their depth.

The Heat could easily acquire but it appears unlikely to happen. Maybe they could organize a multi-team deal where Paul goes elsewhere and the Heat get other stuff.

Lots of possibilities. Some team trade pairings that make some sense to me:

Blazers - Spurs
Pistons and / or TWolves - Hawks
Heat - Cavs and / or Raptors
Thunder - Hornets (and additional teams)
Maybe Celtics - Suns

More speculative

Rockets - Knicks
Sixers - Magic

Warriors probably need at least 3 teams involved in a Russell trade but probably don't do it.

Trade target ideas from player level RAPM factor strengths and team factor needs. https://twitter.com/bballstrategy/statu ... 67425?s=20

Anybody ever try to predict trades based on the recent history of trades (in league and for specific teams), the individual stats and age/ contract context, the team stats, standing, arc, cap, depth, etc.? With machine learning? For teams the value here would be identifying realistic trade partners and competition for trades.

Another possible big trade: Dieng, Covington, Wiggins for Leonard, Olynyk, Johnson, Waiters. Or some other minor additions. Who says yes and no?

I kind of like Wiggins and Love being traded for each other again. Love and Towns may not be 99 Duncan and Robinson on defense but going all in on frontcourt spacing seems more interesting than what the Wolves are doing now. Cleveland probably looking for any way to trade Love that doesn’t require them to include a 1st or Sexton/Garland. I doubt anybody is jumping at 3 years 90 million after this season for a 17/10 poor defending PF, 31 year old with injury history, or else they’d have traded him by now

About 400 more hours of mostly unrealistic posturing before most of the market operates, to the extent it does.

Lots of trade possibilities that wouldn't surprise. If they happen... or not. Are there going to be any surprises? Easier to keep doing what you are doing but you may keep getting what you are getting that way. Most likely will. Who is fed up or afraid?

50 hours left and most of the rumors are half-baked and unlikely to happen ideas.

Woj reporting a 4 team deal. GSW not in it.

Not sure if all the details are out yet. As is, Rockets save a lot of money.

TWolves move toward being different, younger in the end, probably worse for awhile.

Like deal for Nuggets.

Don't really care for Hawks.

Rockets did what they (or at least owner) wanted. Wonder who else they get.

Parker on Kings seems to fit with their way of thinking. But for how long?

Len seems reasonable.

Will Kings move Bjelica and / or Giles?
