Ahh, Williams-Goss. Listing Ingles as guard is a bit strange but overall looks okay. They're missing William Howard that the Jazz are bringing over at least for camp (I think).

It is ok imo to ignore "camp invites" until they beat the odds against.

The type of good team that had best success against Nuggets last regular season was those who could shoot well. 8 teams in west were at or above league average on efg% in regular season, only two of those for entire playoffs. Blazers failed to do it but squeaked by Nuggets anyways. This data could be seen as threatening to Nuggets or encouraging. The number of western teams above league average on efg% next season will probably be the same or maybe 1 higher. But which will maintain it in the playoffs against probably tougher defense?

The type of good team that had best success against Rockets last regular season was those who could win net ftas and / or win the rebounding war. There were about 5 of each. Blazers, Jazz did both and Mavs were close. Warriors lost both to Rockets but it was pretty close. With off-season changes the Pelicans and Clippers might achieve both next season.

Warriors lost most often to teams that shot well in regular season. Rockets met this criteria and overall held their own on other factors but the Warriors outshot them by a bit and won. Raptors were 4th best shooting team in playoffs overall but picked it up considerably against the Warriors. Outperformed on the other 3 factors as well.

Last season is not much guide for the Lakers and Clippers. But neither was good against good teams. They have to get up to the level of other strong teams against good teams first before they surpass them.

Jazz struggled against several types of good teams. Blazers had their difficulty against balanced 2 way teams.

Any of the leaders in west could fall to right opponent or hot opponent. The exception might be the less known Clippers, but probably still vulnerable.

Will Morant and Jones play together much for Griz? Probably not, but I think they should try it some, especially in clutch time.

M Gasol, Ibaka, Whiteside, Drummond, Adams. Aldridge... how many of these big men get traded? I assume a few will. Perhaps for another of them.

Hoopshype's depth charts look pretty good now. Horizontal array of positions, vertical for depth. Training camp names included.

I'd bring Wiggins off the bench. From game 1 or after game 10 if they want to continue the hope game and it doesn't work again. Probably 24 minutes / gm. Even less if he doesn't hustle, focus, perform. I don't think it hurts his trade value. It is already very low or non-existent.

Zion gives impression of wanting to go full out . It sounds good but how much should you do it in regular season? A full out hype spin move may work well and entertain but I'd also think it would potentially stress knees and ankles and pose some heightened risk.

Presumably D Griffin will give some input and guidance. Presumably he will talk to other stars and maybe their trainers and doctors. Hopefully ahead of time instead of late.

By RPM, the Celtics have the lowest rated top star among the top 15 teams (if you count Oladipo as coming back). Kemba Walker was in 35th place last season. Their success this season is likely going to have to come as an extended ensemble of positives.

TWolves GM decided not to keep Tyus Jones. Can manage this season and this season isn't likely to have much importance (playoffs not expected). But next summer he'll have to decide whether to keep Teague, Napier or get different. He'll probably decide to go for different. But who will he actually get and how ready to help push for playoffs? How many years til they are back in playoffs? Could be 2, 3, 4 or more.

Are Celtics going to carry 5 centers? Kanter, Theis, Williams, Poirier and Fall. Even 4 is a lot. I'd want at least one more forward over a center. I guess Fall might become a 2 way contract but it seems he has resisted doing it so far.

At least 3 departures from Bucks' basketball front office in recent months. Not necessarily an over-arching narrative to this. But one can wonder what is going on inside.

New Governor / managing partner in effect too. Related to other changes or not.

Can't see Jaylen Brown getting more than Brogdon. Unless maybe the Raptors want to take him from Celtics.
