Specifically cbb-ref actually. Is it David Corby?
I'm so close to finishing my data gathering for the draft model (everything else will be easy, it's all set up) - I decided to add '95-96 college player data (by hand) to the model to get a full 19 seasons of college to pro ratings - and I've learned that the data for teams past Mississippi State (alphabetically) are missing all the player stats for that '95-96 season. Of course all other seasons are fine - just that one is messed up.
Anyway, there are always snags - and I don't HAVE to have the data, but as a perfectionist I want all the data I can utilize. I sent a bug fix request, tweeted basketball-reference, and am throwing this out here in case the cbb-ref guy (whoever that is - Neil Paine went on to greener pastures a while back I believe) checks in here. I'm just crossing my fingers it'll be fixed soon so I can feel comfortable I didn't skip any data I could have used.
Of course, I could just ignore 95-96, and use the 18 seasons I already have (w/ no snags the model would be done a day earlier). But, knowing I could use the '96 data and not doing it just bugs me.
Who is "the" guy now at Basketball-reference?
