Quality depth for 3 western contenders

Post by Crow »

Plan: Count players who played for team this season and are at or above median performance benchmark (for PER 15 and .100 for WS/48) or zero (for BPM and RPM):

PER- OKC 5, GSW 8, SAS 10

WINSHARES PER 48 MINUTES- OKC 8, GSW 15, SAS 17 These numbers are higher because I gave in to including guys who were above .085 after intending to count just above .100. I didn't do this on the other metrics.

BPM- OKC 4, GSW 6, SAS 14

RPM- OKC 4, GSW 6, SAS 9.

The median player in league is below these benchmarks. Median player on PER is at 13.2. WS/48, .84; BPM -1.2, RPM didn't calculate.

Spurs have the most "quality" depth (at or above benchmarks). Thunder behind Warriors and way way behind Spurs on quality depth on all metrics.
