Met and hung out with Nick at last year's Sloan conference. Cool guy. Congratulations!

Excited to hear they hired the two guys they did.

Got a slightly related question -- the Sloan Conference -- of the attendees -- is it primarily designed mostly for students still in college or grad school? I've wanted to attend but as a mid 30's data engineer I was wondering if I'd be out of place.

I know UNC also has a conference -- but again, seems like they're trying to make it mostly just for students.

Curious your thoughts on the atmosphere.

I wouldn't say it's designed mostly for students. If I had to guess the average age I'd probably say around 30.
As long as you like talking stats & sports you won't feel out of place

Appreciate the feedback. May try to hit the 2018 one given 2017 is in 4 weeks...a bit short notice for making it work.
