In theory, and historically, right here.
You can bring any discussion from any site over here for further dissection.

It sorta depends what you want. Most sophisticated math, new data or a new twist in evaluation / presentation, team or player overall evaluation considering everything, strategy review, etc.

For most sophisticated math, probably squared2020.com. Timely analysis of one thing with new data or a new cut / presentation of it, Nylon Calculus.

Overall team and player evaluation, strategy, lineup analysis is a lot of what I've done here. I tend to chip away at it rather than doing a one drop article. I tend to think I am more willing to evaluate/ judge insider actions than most, especially on lineup management. Many just do a data drop and / or are rather limited on critique. Imo it would be desirable to have more judgment, positive or not. Stopping short of that or being really low key about it seems disappointing / weak to me. It is probably smart if you want to write in the mainstream or get hired by a team, but a lot of writers / team insiders don't attempt or showcase final judgment before those advancements. It is a conservative approach, minimizing risk When they have in the past, I have often found them lacking imo in one way or another, sometimes greatly. But probably not many care about my opinion. At least they usually don't show it in a response.

If you want smart about a particular team or player, go to the best team blog. Platform varies by team. There can be a lot of mediocre and bad takes / arguments but often a lot of good too to be found or even just hinted at to prompt deeper research by you.

The mainstream media outlets of "news", "rumors", quirky stuff or stale surface banter are often low yield but I dunno if you can completely ignore. Certainly don't stop or dwell there.

If it is a typical short article, it probably deserves 0-2 minutes.

Basketball Intelligence (basketballintelligence.net) links to the top 20-25 NBA-related stories of the day. Often metrics-oriented pieces are included. We try to post it at apbrmetrics daily but occasionally we miss a day. Many apbrmetricians are currently subscribers. That's the way to avoid missing any day's post. And it is free!

btw- we use a "Four-I" test for selecting stories. To qualify a story must be informative, intelligent, insightful & interesting.

BI is the way to go for links to detailed reporting & analysis.

Sometimes an issue of too many choices but pick a few, maybe come later.

I agree with crow and rlee, that BI is best way to stay up on basketball content, including detailed analyses!

Building on that, I am trying to build up my own basketball analysis portfolio and I just published a new piece today on my website. I would love to know if you think it qualifies as a 'smart' site or not and/or any additional feedback you have?

The micro predictions with competition over degree of yes / no aren't my cup of tea but write about what interests you. You may get feedback or not, useful or not. If you are satisfied with it, that is a good start.

I'll look at your Kyle Anderson post again later. I'd read an update on that.
